Kate Dowling Jewelry Design

This ring was modeled using Rhino 5.0, 3-D printed with a Solidscape wax printer, and cast in sterling silver using a centrifugal casting machine. The ring was textured using a diamond bur, the stones were set, and the piece was then gold plated. The golden color of the citrine is reminiscent of honey, as is the synthetic ruby reminiscent of flowers. This ring is feminine and regal, which inspired the title.
