Kate Dowling Jewelry Design

This piece is made of silver and contains some filigree elements and some cast components. It is inspired by the ocean; the cast starfish and seahorse are direct castings from a dried seahorse and starfish. The organic components were coated with a thin layer of wax and then cast directly into sterling silver. The wire construction starfish has elements of filigree throughout and has 3 tube set cubic zirconias.
